About these thanksgiving for 1st graders worksheets

These Thanksgiving worksheets for 1st graders mix real grade skills with turkeys, the harvest and being thankful. In math, children solve turkey word problems within 20, find missing numbers, add three numbers in feast stories, read a favorite food tally and picture graph, and fill in a November calendar to find the fourth Thursday.

In reading, they read a story about a thankful family meal and a short nonfiction text about wild turkeys, then answer questions. In writing, the I am thankful page asks for three things and a reason for each. There is also a word search and an ABC order page. All pages are black and white, print on US Letter or A4, and pages with one right answer have an answer key at the end of the PDF. For preschool and kindergarten pages, see Thanksgiving Worksheets.
