About holiday worksheets for preschool

Preschoolers love a holiday, and a seasonal theme makes practice feel like a celebration. These holiday worksheets for preschool dress real Pre-K skills for the season: counting small sets, tracing paths, dot markers, big and small, patterns, matching, coloring and playdough mats.

The pages are organized by season, from back to school in the fall to the end of school in summer. Each holiday has its own page, and the biggest holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) also have a page just for preschool.

Every page is big and simple, with one job and one short direction for the grown-up. Pages with one right answer have an answer key on page 2, and every cut and paste page has a no-cut twin.

Questions

What holiday activities work for preschool?

Short, hands-on pages with big pictures: counting to 5, tracing paths, dot markers, simple patterns, coloring and playdough mats. Each holiday page has 6 to 10 of these.

Are the holiday worksheets religious?

No. The pages are secular: trees, gifts and snowmen for Christmas, bunnies and eggs for Easter, pumpkins and friendly ghosts for Halloween.

Do the pages need cutting?

A few do, and every cut and paste page has a twin that needs no scissors.
