The life cycle of a plant goes seed, sprout, seedling, plant, flower and fruit. These plant life cycle worksheets follow a bean plant: the seed in the soil, a root growing down and a shoot growing up, the first leaves, the grown plant, its flowers, and the pods that hold new seeds.
Every life cycle set has a chart, a label the stages page, a cut and paste sequence, a life cycle wheel to color and spin, a draw the stages page and a read-aloud story with picture questions. The wheel is two pages joined with a paper fastener, so children turn it and say each stage as it shows in the window.
To watch a real life cycle, plant beans in clear cups and use the bean plant journal and the how tall is my plant graph. Life cycles are formally taught in grade 3, but kindergartners love watching a seed grow, and the pictures carry the ideas.

Cut out both circles and the window on the cover. Lay the cover on the picture wheel and push a paper fastener through both center dots. Turn the wheel to show each stage.
