Many 4th grade classes study their own state. These state report templates work for any of the 50 states, so children can research their home state or one they choose.
The pages guide research step by step: a fact sheet for the capital, region, statehood, neighbors, land, climate, Native nations and population; a page for state symbols; a page on the economy, landmarks, history and a famous person; and a planner for a travel brochure.
Every page is black and white and prints on US Letter or A4. These are open research pages, so there are no answer keys.
